we can be our own worst enemy

I believe the road i'm on is a road that will lead me to success. I believe my path is fairly correct with a few bumps in the road. It is smooth paved and lined with with a few side roads. I try to travel with my friends so they are on the same road as me. My destination is success. At the end of my journey I hope to find a good wife and have a family. My education I wanna have some college education depending on the job. The fabric that will make up my life will be my family. Sometimes my friends can be a road block. I can take advantage of any opportunity that comes my way. To be successful I will work hard never quit even when something seems impossible.

"forgive your enemies, but don't forget there names" i agree with this because it reminds me of the saying "keep your friends close and your enemies closer." If you forgive  your enemies then someday if you need help that person might be the only one there. For example if you are held at gun point and your by yourself the best thing you could see would be a cop but you would settle for you enemy. If you forgave that person then you probably have a better chance of him saving your life however if you held a grudge then that person might jump in on the other side.

"whether you think you can or think you can't your're right" this means that you make your own choices in life. What ever choice you make you believe it is right. It may not always be the right choice but to you it is at the time.

"Never let the fear of striking out get in your way." --- Babe Ruth 

I chose this one because it talks about baseball but has a greater mean. For example if i step up to the plate and don't believe that i can hit the ball i'll strike out every time. However in a bigger perspective if your scared of something you have to conker that fear so you can advance in life. By advance i mean move forwards or better your life in some way such as, a job you could get promoted.

I picked this poem because it says you should get to know people before you judge them. If people got to know people better we all would get along better.

I think t.v has destroyed communication between family and friends. I think this because kids today are less active the before we had t.v. Instead of kids wanting to go out and do stuff with family and friends they would rather watch t.v.
